No pressure and no surprises — just a warm welcome. Here's how a typical Sunday morning goes.

  1. 1

    Arrive & grab a coffee

Come a little before 09:30. A friendly face will meet you at the door, and there's good coffee waiting.

  2. 2

    Find a seat — anywhere

Sit wherever you like. Nobody will single you out or ask you to stand; just settle in and relax.

  3. 3

Sing & hear from the Bible

We sing a few songs together and hear a clear, down-to-earth message from the Bible — usually about 30 minutes.

  4. 4

    Your kids are cared for

Kids Church runs alongside the service for ages 3–12 with a warm, checked-in team, so you can worship in peace.

  5. 5

Stay for tea & meet people

Afterwards, stay for a cup of tea. We'd genuinely love to meet you — no strings, no sign-up sheet.

Our story

Building the church of Jesus Christ in Sea Point

For years, on the corner of Main and Marais Road, ordinary people have gathered here to worship, to belong and to grow — office workers and grandmothers, students and young families, South Africans and newcomers from across the world.

We're an evangelical congregational church, which is a long way of saying something simple: we love Jesus, we take the Bible seriously, and we make decisions together as a family.

  • Bible-centred, Christ-exalting teaching
  • A genuinely multi-cultural family
  • Every generation, worshipping together
  • Come exactly as you are

A warm, Christ-centred family in the heart of Sea Point.
